Jesus is the Light (and the crosshairs)

I am shocked and dismayed. It has come to light, no pun intended, that Trijicon, a Michgan based firm that manufactures gunsights for the military of many countries, including the United States of America, will no longer inscribe biblical references on their products. Bowing to pressure from those who espouse secular values, Trijicon shall no longer etch these inspirational references onto their Godly Gunsights. THese included the inscription "2COR4:6," (2 Corinthians 4:6) which reads, "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ" and JN8:12 (John 8:12) which says "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.' "

In essence, Trijicon is saying that God is the laser beam in the gunsight of life, shining straight and true to facilitate the entry of firearm delivered projectiles through the enemies' satanic flesh, shattering sternum and ribcage into shards and then exploding in their heathen hearts so that they may know His glory all the sooner. In a press release, Trijicon stated that "[a]s long as we have men and women in danger, we will continue to do everything we can to provide them with both state-of-the-art technology and the never-ending support and prayers of a grateful nation." Indeed, technology and prayer, a one-two punch to the face of the Godless heretics, or at the very least those who choose to worship the wrong God. We know how well technology works in the killing department. Combine that with prayer and, well, we know how well prayer works if one prays really, really hard, kneeling with clasped hands, super tightly closed eyes and a scrunched up face full of concentration. If it doesn't work, you are doing it wrong.

I can only surmise that the 'Tri' in Trijicon' refers to the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, and ghosts are pretty scary. The letter J following Tri must refer to Jesus Himself, while ''icon' refers to the greatness of the Lord. Or it could be 'I con', which may speak to God's sneaky and irritable flip side, which he uses to smite heathens when they are feeling too smug and complacent, like in Haiti.

God is indeed merciful and kind, except when he's riled, when he can be a dick.

  1. What an excellent analysis! I am sure the Prince of Peace, speaking the words "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life," definitely envisioned how inspirational those words would be to men trying to shoot other men (and sometimes women and kids). Bravo Jesus. I think "Turn the other cheek," would also be a good slogan to put on weapons, because if someone turns the other cheek, it is easier to shoot them because they aren't watching you and can't dodge.

Trijicon certainly has helped us make God's light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ and the armpits of the angels and the understanding of the holy underpants that must contain the holy boner that comes after the righteous use Trijicon's weapons to make God's light blow up shit all over the heathens and pagans because God's light needs nothing more than people to help him kill.

    AMEN!
